Junior Soccer Academy Program Ages 9+10 & 11+12

DEVELOPMENTAL SOCCER CAMP PROGRAM

Continued development of technique and soccer skills and introduction to individual and small group tactics. Again using game like fun activities. Included in the program will be fast footwork training. Actual soccer games conclude each and every day with the Junior Soccer Academy Program.

Each Premier Soccer Camps program is developed and designed by Founder and National Programs Director Dennis Lukens. Coach Lukens has coached in the 2008 Olympics as well as a U-12 Girls National Champion. He was Coaching Director for the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association and currently is the only American Coach working with a European Premiership Team (FC Sevastopol). Mr. Lukens has a Masters Degree in Physical Education and USSF “A” License.

  • Evaluation and Placement
  • Speed Dribbling
  • 1 vs 1 Fakes and Feints
  • Beating Opponents 12 moves
  • Shooting - Placement and Power
  • Long Range Shooting
  • Volleys and half volleys
  • Collecting ground balls all parts of foot
  • Collecting air balls all parts of body
  • Passing all parts of foot
  • Receiving and turning
  • Chipping, Lobbing and Bending balls
  • Heading for Goal and Defensive Heading
  • Small Group & Combination Play
  • Attacking Numbers Up & Down
  • Possessional Play
  • Individual Defending
  • Group Defending
  • Team Defending
  • Daily small side games end each session
  • Daily 11 vs 11 Games

Group Placement Evaluation:

Evaluation for placement will be based on age, size, and ability and will be conducted throughout the first day of camp commencing with the first afternoon field session on opening day. Evaluation is an on going process conducted throughout the week.
